This charming lake house, affectionately called the “Hobbit” house, stands out with its imaginative use of brick, shingle, and stone, along with quirky touches that make it unique. After admiring this beautiful structure for almost ten years, we finally got the chance to enjoy a week of relaxation there! Owned by a celebrity, this lake house far surpassed our expectations. The remarkable architecture, intricate details, and high-quality materials are unmatched! Locally known as the “Hobbit” house, it features three stories and includes a rooftop deck that covers the entire length of the building. Inside, you’ll find custom woodwork, lofty ceilings, a brick fireplace, steel beams, stained glass, and a spacious gourmet kitchen with a cozy breakfast nook. One of the most impressive features is the grand stone staircase that connects the grassy driveway to the main entrance!
