$20,000,000 | Constructed in 2011 | 20,150 Sq. Ft. | 10 Bedrooms | 11.5+ Bathrooms | 93.6 Acres
Despite a major price reduction of $30 million, this expansive lodge, spanning 20,150 square feet on 93.6 acres in Northern California, still hasn’t attracted any buyers and is now priced $5 million lower. A report from Realtor highlighted this notable drop, stating that even at the initial price, the estate was a bargain considering its creator, gaming magnate Robert “Bob” Luciano, invested over $57 million in its construction. Luciano is the founder of Bally Technologies Inc., a prominent player in the casino industry known for manufacturing slot machines and developing gaming management systems. Currently listed for $20 million, The Cedars would be perfect as a corporate retreat. This property was designed by architect Dennis E. Zirbel and features a 16,000-square-foot lodge equipped with a commercial kitchen, guest accommodations, a gym, a spa, meeting facilities, a wine cellar, caves for tastings, as well as a tennis court featuring gallery seating, an outdoor kitchen and pavilion, fire pits, a beach, and even a swimming pond. On-site amenities also include a large carriage house for parking, a bunkhouse suitable for up to 18 guests with its own kitchen and recreational spaces, a caretaker’s cabin, and a maintenance building complete with a workshop. Equestrian facilities are also available, which include a 6-stall barn with paddocks and a covered round pen. The Cedars is represented by Jeff Hamilton of Sotheby’s International Realty.
