Municipalities with the most rapidly appreciating home values in Colorado
The property market excitement triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic persists, albeit at a more measured rate. Purchasers are still vying for a scarce housing inventory, resulting in increased costs for reasonably priced homes.
The average home price in the country reached $360,385 in October, a 2.4% increase from the previous year.
Rising mortgage interest rates have tempered growth, with values even falling in certain areas. However, some regions continue to experience significant price increases compared to the previous year.
Stacker has assembled a list of municipalities with the most rapidly increasing home prices in Colorado, leveraging data from Zillow. Locations are organized by the dollar change in the Zillow Home Values Index for all residences for the 12 months ending October 2024. The graphs in this article were generated automatically utilizing Matplotlib. Information was collected for 50 towns and cities throughout Colorado.
