These Football Rice Krispies Treats are an easy, no-bake game day treat that I love making for football Sundays and game day snacks. It uses simple pantry ingredients, comes together in about 10 minutes, and the rest is just letting them set.

It is soft, chocolatey, and shaped like mini footballs. Made with Cocoa Krispies cereal and marshmallows, they’re finished with simple icing details to look just like a football.

Important Recipe Notes

  • Let the marshmallow mixture cool slightly before shaping so it’s easier to handle and doesn’t stick as much.
  • Lightly spraying your hands with non-stick spray makes shaping the footballs much easier.
  • Don’t press the mixture too tightly, or the treats can turn out hard instead of soft.
  • You can make these football Rice Krispies treats up to a day ahead and store them in the fridge until ready to serve.
  • Add the icing details after the treats are fully set so the lines stay neat and don’t smear.
